This is the second year the Gove County Community Foundation has participated in the Nex-Gen Summer Internship program. The Gove County Community Foundation hired Evangeline Godek, her internship runs from May through July and ends with an Intern Graduation Celebration in Colby. Evangeline will be a Sophomore at Wheatland High School. Her goals this summer with the Foundation includes learning how to apply for a grant, learning the Foundations system and thought process in accepting grants, and getting more involved and knowledgeable of her community. Throughout Evangeline’s internship she will be working on entering data into the foundations new data base, updating their Website, and communication as well as assisting the office administrator for the Foundation.
