GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS:
Oakley High School (USD 274) graduating seniors. (Some consideration may be given to former Oakley School students who obtained a GED.)

CRITERIA:
- Students must: have a desire to improve themselves with the goal of securing a two-year degree or post-secondary program certification, and become a service to the public by providing hands-on opportunities that could include, but are not limited to, training in the fields of welding, electrical or plumbing.
- Demonstrate a financial need;
- Plan to attend a Junior College, Trade School, Vocational-Technical School or equivalence of a post-secondary program that issues a certificate of completion within two years or less to prepare them for the workforce;
- Obtain one letter of recommendation from the school guidance counselor or vo-ag instructor; and
- Provide a copy of your current high school transcript.
- If awarded, student must provide evidence of enrollment in a two-year or less vocational institution.
RENEWALS:
This award is not renewable.
NOTE:
- Applications are accepted from August 15 to April 1 (end of day) annually.
- Awards will be announced at Recognition Night prior to graduation.
